(1) Surveys and Research for the Response to Aging

JEED implements surveys and conducts research on wages and personnel management systems to solve or improve the problems regarding the promotion and increase of companies where people can work until 70, and develops effective tools to promote the employment of the elderly as well as to smoothly implement measures for securing employment until the age of 65.

(2) Joint Research

In order to respond to individual issues regarding the employment of the elderly that companies and industrial organizations encounter, JEED conducts joint surveys and research with companies getting advice from experts on the issues.

  • Creation of guidelines for promotion of employment of the elderly by each industry
  • Research regarding the implementation of various employment patterns at individual companies
  • Research regarding the establishment of personnel and educational management systems and workload reduction for the elderly at individual companies

(3) Elderly Employment Development Forum

For personnel responsible for personnel affairs at companies, researchers of employment issues, and employees at the institutions concerned, JEED holds the Elderly Employment Development Forum every year to present survey and research results in order to deepen understanding for the employment promotion of the elderly.

(4) Dissemination and Utilization of Research Results

In order to use such research results as references for approaches to employment for the elderly at companies, JEED publishes reports results, annual research reports and brochures, and distribute them to employers and concerned institutions via Advisors and Up-to-70 Advisors.
